The Chicago, Ft Wayne, and Eastern Railroad contracted Strebig Construction, Inc. to build a NUCOR system building in 2011 to house a 12,000 square foot locomotive shop and mechanical facility in Ft. Wayne. The facility has two rail bays to repair locomotives and railcars. Strebig Constrution, Inc. producted a schedule and timeline then delivered a finished product as ordered by RailAmerica. CFE forces now have a fully functional shop with overhead crane and inspection pit to service locomotives in a safe and efficient manner. Strebig completed a shop that added a much needed piece of our operation.
Working with you as the coordinator and all of the Strebig’s staff on the development of Coldwater Township’s first and only park was one of the most pleasant construction undertakings I’ve ever been involved with. If I or any of the Coldwater Township Board wanted or needed something done, even if it was outside the scope of the park project, Strebig people would just say, “O.K., we’ll get that done for you” and it was! The Strebig workers NEVER said, we’ll see or I’m not sure about any detail of the project, they always took a “CAN-DO” attitude and the result of this Park Project shows it in every detail! I’d recommend anyone considering using Strebig for their next construction project to call me and or come see our Park; it’s a thing of perfection and beauty and the grass hasn’t really grown in yet! Wait till May 2013 and this new Park will show its true beauty even more!
Russell Siler, on-site Township project contact.
The entire construction experience was exceptionally pleasant from start to finish. Everyone on Strebig’s team worked hard to make sure no details were left out and communication was always excellent. The job finished ahead of schedule and on budget. I would definitely look to Strebig Construction for our next project.

Dear Strebig Construction, Inc.,
In 2010, Strebig Construction, Inc. completed a renovation project for our clinical divisions within the Department. Initially, we were worried that the location would not suit our needs and we questioned whether the building could be renovated to meet our expectations. The project was completed within weeks of the target date and it was very well done and in a professional manner. There were no surprises – all questions were asked and answered in a timely manner and all issues were resolved professionally and respectfully. It was a smooth transition from construction completion into our occupancy of the building. All of their on-site staff were very prompt for meetings and questions and were very easy to work with throughout the entire project. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we are so happy with how the building turned out, its functionality and the overall finished product. We would certainly recommend Strebig Construction for other projects and if given the opportunity, we would surely work with them again.

There are numerous construction firms to choose from in the Northeast Indiana area when contemplating a new construction project.
When Freeman Jewelers decided to proceed with our new retail jewelry store, we had major decisions to make. Probably the most major decision was which construction firm to use. We have worked on several projects with Strebig Construction, Inc. in the past, with great satisfaction. The decision was quite easy for us.
We began construction in August 2004. It certainly seemed like a very daunting task. However, from our past experience with Strebig Construction, Inc. our apprehension soon began to dissolve. Randy and his crew were extremely attentive to our concerns. Our Project managers, Jim Coe and Ryan Troyer, were invaluable to us. We were at the job site almost daily, with numerous questions, concerns, etc. There was never a time when our questions and concerns were not addressed, if not immediately, always in a very timely manner.
We are now operating from our new location on Old Auburn Rd., (right on time with the targeted completion date) and everyone who enters our storefront comments on what a lovely building we have. Needless to say, we feel we made a wonderful decision to proceed with Strebig Construction, Inc. and are extremely happy with our results,
Robert Freeman, Vice President of Freeman Jewelers
Strebig Construction, Inc. built our Dunkin Donuts Baskin Robbins building in the summer of 2004. This was our first attempt at building a commercial business.
After my initial meeting with Randy and Eric, liking them and what they offered, my decision was confidently made. We were very nervous at the beginning, but we were put to ease by Strebig Construction, Inc. We were more pleased when we visited the job site. We had our exclusive supervisor who stopped whatever he was doing when we visited the job site. No question went unanswered, everything was always to perfection. The subcontractors were top in their fields, polite, and also never too busy to answer questions. The entire team of Strebig Construction, Inc. is talented, and their quality and care for perfection was fantastic. We have received many, many compliments on the quality of workmanship, we highly recommend Strebig Construction, Inc. to others, and they will build our next store.

This is the second time our company has used Strebig Construction, Inc. Our first project was in 1999. In 2005 we increased the size of the 1999 project by 300%.
In both projects Strebig Construction, Inc. was the most competitive bid, not only for price, but also for quality. The quoting process was open and well documented. Jim Coe conducted many meetings between our people here at Color Master and the various subcontractors before the bids were taken. This was not the case with others who bid on this job. As a result of this up front effort very few change orders were required and the total project came in at the projected cost.
The quality of the workmanship by the craftsman selected by Strebig Construction, Inc. was very good. I was impressed by this in our first project and found the same level of attention to detail to be present in the second project. The project was started and completed on time.
I have recommended Strebig Construction, Inc. to others I know who are in need of construction services, and I will continue to do so.
Philip E. Schlink, President, Color Master, Inc., Butler, IN
I have had the great opportunity to work with Strebig Construction, Inc. off and on for the past 11 years. I’ve been involved in small, medium and large projects with them, and I have always felt that the smaller projects received just as much attention as the larger ones.
Being a facility manager for a public entity, I must bid out all construction work. Because of this, I deal with many of Strebig Construction Inc.’s competitors. Hands down, Strebig Construction, Inc. is a mile ahead of their competition. They are very attentive to detail and firmly hold all of their subcontractors to the highest standard. They do this; I don’t have to. Not something I find with their competitors.
I’ve seen mission statements a thousand times before; Strebig Construction, Inc. is one that actually fulfills it. If I was the private sector, I would always hire Strebig Construction, Inc. to do all my construction work. It’s that simple.
Darren P Hess, Fort Wayne Community Schools
Strebig Construction, Inc. built and completed a commercial building for me in February 2001. I had heard horror stories about commercial builders in general and was warned to “be careful.” Although I had been talking with Randy about my project for three years, I remember the uncertainty and apprehension I felt in moving forward with this project. It was a very big undertaking for a company my size. However, Randy assured me that my fears were without foundation. He was right.
The project was started and finished within two weeks of the targeted completion date. Being a woman, I am very detailed and have very high standards in the quality of workmanship and finish work I expected. What I found out was that Strebig Construction, Inc. was even more detailed with even higher standards than mine. Their workmanship was excellent. It was a great project and one I enjoyed immensely. I was very active in the project and visited the workers daily. Would I build with Strebig Construction, Inc. again? The answer is, “Yes” ….. in a “New York Minute.” They get high praise from this satisfied customer.
Cheryl Heller, President, GIS, Inc., Fort Wayne
Dear Strebig Construction, Inc.,
“As a subcontractor for Strebig Construction, Inc. for over 18 years, I have always found their projects to be well staffed, clean, on schedule, and responsive to the needs of the customer.
They built our office/warehouse in 1997 and was totally involved from the land acquisition to the final occupancy.”
Gordon Murphy, President/Owner, Fort Wayne Door
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and Jim Coe for the great job you have done for our company. We appreciate your quick response to our needs and the follow through that insures things are done correctly and on time. No project or job seems too big or too small for you to handle.
Over the years, we have come to rely on your company to make our building improvements and repairs. This has freed up personnel on our staff do things that more directly relate to our primary business, developing film and making prints.
We wish you many more years of continued success.
